Two Wheel Campaign Launches
A two-week, National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) road safety campaign, to improve the safety of motorcyclists and cyclists, has commenced.
During 2019, 598 motorcyclists and 412 cyclists were killed or injured in collisions on Welsh roads. The campaign, which aims to improve awareness and behaviour among drivers and riders, will include enforcement and engagement activities alongside the promotion of safety messages and tips to reduce risk.
Teresa Ciano, GoSafe Partnership Manager and Chair of Road Safety Wales said, “If we all play our part and share the road responsibly, we can make every journey a safe journey for all road users. Let’s take care of each other on the road.”
