Carmarthenshire residents are being urged to play safely with new virtual reality game Pokemon Go.
The council’s road safety team want to raise awareness of potential safety issues after some youths were seen playing the game on a busy dual carriageway in North Wales.
The game encourages players to catch virtual monsters found on real maps using GPS functions on smart phones.
Pokemon Go has become a world-wide phenomenon becoming the most successful game ever launched on mobile platforms.

Drivers who flout variable speed limits on a stretch of the M4 at Newport will face action as part of a clampdown.
The system, which aims to keep traffic moving between junctions 24 at Coldra and 28 at Tredegar Park, was introduced in 2011.
Economy and Infrastructure Secretary Ken Skates said speeding motorists will now face tougher enforcement action.

An important driving course has given Pontygwaith’s Courtney Baber not only discounted access to essential additional motoring skills – but also a cheque for £250!
Pass Plus Cymru is a bespoke course for young drivers devised by Road Safety Wales to provide additional theory and practical training to inexperienced drivers, such as experience on the motorway and in narrow rural lanes.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council administers Pass Plus Cymru on behalf of nine local authorities using Welsh Government funding, which means young drivers only have to pay £20 for the course, which could costs up to £150.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, South Wales Police and Rhondda Cynon Taf Road Safety Unit have worked in partnership to raise awareness on Road Safety.
The 3 day event which took place 5-7th July 2016 at Tonypandy Fire Station targeted at-risk groups in relation to road safety and was aimed at reducing the number of serious injuries and deaths in the Rhondda area.
Over the 3 days, 282 people from ITEC, Community Payback, People Plus and 4 schools; Llwyncelyn Infants, Tonypandy, Cwm Clydach and SS Raphael & Gabriel Primary Schools attended.

Pupils from Bryn, Derwen Deg and Ty Sign Primary Schools were all invited to Ty Penallta, Caerphilly County Borough offices, on Thursday 14 July to receive prizes for the creative and imaginative 20mph posters they had produced.
The competition asked the three schools to design a poster, which would be incorporated into their 20mph limit sign outside their schools, in order to help reduce the speed of traffic. The brief stated the poster must include the theme of going slow or slowing down to 20mph.
Susan J Davies, Road Safety Project Officer, said “The standard of entries was exceptional which made it a very difficult job for the Road Safety team and engineers to pick winners.”

One of Wales' longest-serving lollipop ladies will be hanging up her stick for the last time this week.
Joyce Morgan, 74, has helped generations of children cross the road at Roch Community School since 1973, while helping out as a dinner lady.
Mrs Morgan, who lives a short distance away from the Pembrokeshire school, said: "I've really enjoyed my time there and I'm going to miss everyone."

Visitors planning to hitch up their caravan and take it to the forthcoming Royal Welsh Show are urged to make sure it’s safe and roadworthy.
Dyfed-Powys Police officers are aware that for many, their caravans are used once a year to attend the event. This can often lead to caravans in desperate need of repair being taken on a road trip with no real consideration of whether it is safe to use.
In the countdown to the show, which opens on Monday, July 18, officers have issued advice on how to make sure a caravan is fit for purpose.

Officers in Gwent have been out and about using a roadside drug test called a 'DrugWipe' which uses a saliva sample to test for the likes of Cannabis and Cocaine.
The test shows a valid reading within as little as 8 minutes and if positive officers will take the motorist to a police station for a blood test, which will be used in any prosecution.
From their introduction back in May 2015 officers across Gwent have recorded 279 positive 'DrugWipe' tests to date (11th July 2016). So far, 97 drivers have been disqualified for being on drugs with a total disqualification period of 157 years and 2 months, with 109 drivers still waiting on test and court results.

HRH The Prince of Wales is to give road safety initiatives the royal seal of approval at the Llandovery Motorbike Weekend.
The Prince will launch the motorbike weekend by starting a parade of bikes around the town on Friday 8 July.
Bikers from the emergency services, the County Council’s Road Safety Team and engagement partners will take part in the parade.

New automatic 20mph speed limit signs have been installed to warn motorists travelling through Capel Bangor on the A44 that youngsters are heading to or leaving the village primary school.
Penllwyn Primary School is located just off the A44, which has been named the most dangerous road in Wales for the last three years and the fourth most dangerous in the UK.
After years of waiting for road safety measures, new signs have been installed which change from a 40mph limit warning to a 20mph limit at school run times. Parents, staff and children at the school are said to be delighted.
