Road Safety Wales Poster Competition: Winners
We are delighted to announced the winners of the recent Road Safety Wales Poster Competition!
When we’re walking, cycling or scooting to school, or when we’re out with our friends in the community, we want to be able to get there safely without being hurt by a driver who is drunk or has taken drugs.
We also want our family to stay safe if they’re driving, so we need to let people know that driving when drunk or after taking drugs is dangerous and could really hurt someone.
Road Safety Wales invited young people aged up to 18 from across Wales to design a poster that highlights how drink or drug driving can affect innocent road users.
Each poster was judged on originality, creativity, impact and the message being portrayed. The standard of entries was incredibly high and the judges found it very difficult to decide on just 5 posters - so had to choose 6 instead!
We can now reveal that the winners are:
- Cian Jones, Ysgol Gynradd y Talwrn
- Jessica Forbes, Raglan Primary School
- Jonah Dukes, St David’s Church in Wales Primary School
- Osian Jones, Ysgol Gynradd y Talwrn
- Tia Maher, Ysgol y Borth
- Joshua Satherley, Marshfield Primary School
Winning entries will receive a cheque for £50 from Road Safety Wales.
Thank you to everyone that entered and congratulations to our winners!
